Do You Need a Detox?? Let's see! 🤔
Well in my opinion I think we need to be detoxing everyday.
Now that doesn't mean extreme colon cleanses, water fasting or sitting in a sauna for 24hours a day. But what is does mean is supporting your detox systems daily so they can do the thing they are designed to do - DETOX!
Signs you need a detox:
Anxiety and Nervousness
Backaches
Constipation
Environmental Sensitivities
Headaches
Indigestion
Irritated Eyes
Joint Pains
Sinus Congestion
Tight or Stiff Neck
Acne
Allergies
Arthritis
Colds
Eczema
Menstrual problems and PMS
Migraines
Obesity
Anything ending in “itis”
When we detox we clear toxins from the body or neutralize or transform them as well as clearing excess mucus and congestion. Poor digestion, colon sluggishness and dysfunction, reduced liver function and poor elimination through the kidneys, respiratory tract and skin add up to increased toxicity. We need to reduce intake of toxins and improve elimination.
Daily we can eat organic food as much as possible to reduce toxic pesticides from entering our body. We can drink lemon water to support our digestion and liver. We can eat a high fiber diet to ensure we are pooping regularly and getting toxins out of our body. We can do a workout and get our sweat on, then go and shower with soap and water right after to get the toxins from our sweat session off our body. We can filter our water. We can look for non toxic beauty and skin care products. We can use natural cleaners for our homes like vinegar.
I hope you are up for some daily detoxing and strive to make some changes, it really can clear up sluggishness and congestion and give you a little skip in your step.
