There are so many options for smoothies and so many things we can put into a smoothie, which is why I LOVE them! 💗
But to make the most balanced smoothie I always add in these 4 main nutrients:
By adding in these 4 nutrients we are creating a balanced meal that will balance our blood sugar.
If we just loaded our smoothie with bananas and berries, we would be hungry an hour later. When we add in protein, fat and fiber a smoothie can sustain us for 4 hours, balance our blood sugar and balance our hormones.
I love this Lemon Tart Smoothie
protein - protein powder
. fat - coconut butter
fiber - cauliflower
carbohydrate - banana

1 Lemon (juiced)
1 Banana (frozen)
1 cup Frozen Cauliflower
2 tbsps Coconut Oil
1/4 cup Vanilla Protein Powder
1 1/2 cups Unsweetened Almond Milk
Place all ingredients in your blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
